My name is Dr Rupert Newton.  I am a Chartered Accountant and now self-taught full stack developer.  After qualifying with KPMG I worked in investment banking advisory in London for 15 years.

I am the founder of a tech startup project called Datakey.io, which is developing a completely new family of connected home devices, centred around a home server called Brainbox.

Brainbox is a mutli-purpose server and autonomous client, it is based on

    * a Linux Kernel with minimal build forming a new OS
    * a single board computer with ARM processor, we aim to implement RISC-V processor
    * open source services and programs

It features a number of servers in one tiny powerful box
    * application server
    * email server
    * document server
   * data server
    * telephone server
    * media server
    * device controller
   * web server
It has an accessible easy to use front door which you get to with any browser on any device that has one.  It connects and plays with all internet connected devices, wearables, phones, tablets, iPads, iPhones, laptops, PCs, smart TVs, even smart cars if they are web-enabled.
It understands English, so you can ask it questions by typing them in, or speaking them if you prefer.  You can navigate in the old way too, clicking buttons and menus.  It's your choice.
We will move to other languages as soon as we can
    * Chinese
    * Hindu
    * Spanish / Latinate
    * Arabic
    * Portugese
    * Germanic

With these features Brainbox will

   * family calendar,

   *  supplier, customer, business and personal contacts

   * rip CD music, upload music tracks they already have, create, share and use playlists anywhere

We are building a brand which is based on this vision.  [vison on].  We will do this by [brand mission].  Datakey.io will be a leading expert on personal information security,  we will educate and inform anyone who will listen about how to stay safe and secure in a crowded and fast-changing digital world.  We

Our target customer is a female householder.   There is no age range barrier, we might expect ages 25-95.  We want to bring to them the power of cutting edge computing technology.
The women we want to reach are variously householder who may also be a
   * mother
   * home business owner
   * primary care-giver
We believe that women all around the world have important roles which are not valued.  We also believe that women are presented with unrealistic and discouraging images of family homes.
Women account for around 80% of all household purchases, and they have a signficant influence on the remaining 20%.  This has been hardly recognised by policy-makers and companies.
This represents a collossal opportunity to reach them, in a way that is hardly been done yet.  We believe that current tech business models are doing more harm than good.  Tech companies are using every possible technique they know to capture customers, and then exploiting them for financial gain.  At the same time they have a carefully-crafted public relations narrative that they are doing all this to make the lives of consumers better.  It is clever, and dishonest.

Datakey.io will be the opposite.  We will promote knowledge and sales of Datakey.io home devices by developing the goodwill we aspire to, encouraging the communities of female householders to spread the news
of what it can do for them.   We will be strong on enduring customer relationships, and keep them informed and engaged with communications which engage them in a way that
appeals to them as women.  We will embrace communications over digital networks, as well as human and cultural networks.

We are going to build a developer community, to create server apps for Brainbox.
